Jasmine says I obtained my bachelors in English at Tuskegee University. From there, I taught ELA in Houston, Texas for three years but knew that God was calling me to do more. I noticed that there were many children who did not have the focus necessary to learn, because they were battling things within their homes. Therefore, I enrolled into the Marriage and Family Therapy program at Northcentral University in 2014 and after battling several obstacles with my oldest son, who was later diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder, I am finally completing the last portion of my program here in Huntsville, AL.
My mission and ultimate goal, is to reach children and families who are facing problematic issues within the home. My core focus, is to work with children and teens who may be suffering from systemic trauma. As an extension of my time at Solid Ground I am working at Grove Academy providing mental and behavioral health support to students, staff, and families.
Jasmine is working under the clinical supervision of Rachel Sullivan, LMFT, AAMFT Approved Supervisor #150916.
